This Japanese rice is a favourite for many families including ours, this variety is the Koshihikari.
It is also the perfect rice for making Sushi or Onigiri too as it retains moisture better than other varieties.
We offer to polish the rice at levels of 50%,70% or 100% for free. Please select the level of your preference when ordering. If polish level is not indicated, we will ship out at the standard level of 100% - white rice.
Harvest Period
The annual harvest of the Koshihikari rice usually takes place around the end of August. This however will be influence by the weather.
Storage & Care
Store in an airtight container. Avoid direct sunlight,heat and moisture.
Alternatively, storing in the fridge can extends the shelf life for a few months.
Avoid storing in vacuum sealed bags as it will leaked over time.
