Another fan favorite, the Housui nashi ( 豊水). The juicy and sweet flesh is slightly softer than the other varieties. The uniqueness of the pear is that there is a slight hint of sourness in the after taste.

The harvest period for Housui nashi is estimated to be between the last week of August and first week of September. This is dependent on the weather and will vary each year.

Each piece of the Housui nashi weighs approximately between 400g and 450g. Therefore, it is estimated that:

5kg package contains between 8 and 14 pieces of pears
10kg package contains between 16 and 28 pieces of pears
Storage & Care
For longer freshness, consider storing the nashi by wrapping each one with newspaper and put in the plastic bag before storing in the fridge.
