The Aichi no Kokoro is a new rice variety that has originated from Aichi prefecture. It was developed by the Aichi Agricultural Research Center, it was specifically bred to tackle the challenges of modern climate change.
The crop has built-in natural resistance to major rice diseases and pests, making it easier for farmers to grow sustainably with fewer agricultural chemicals.
Because the grains retain their soft texture, gloss, and flavor even after cooling down, it is highly recommended for bento lunchboxes and daily family meals.
We offer to polish the rice at levels of 50%,70% or 100% for free. Please select the level of your preference when ordering. If polish level is not indicated, we will ship out at the standard level of 100% - white rice.
